Student Concerts

All students are encouraged to perform in relaxed settings at home, during lesson times and at student concerts.

Learning how to perform in a relaxed setting develops confidence and performance technique.

Hearing other students play in a relaxed environment is inspiring and encouraging.

Eisteddfods

Eisteddfods are local competitions that students can compete in. They offer a range of age and musical categories. Adjudication is carried out by experienced adjudicators and scores and marks reflect the students' overall performance.

Eisteddfods are a great way to gain performance experience, and to be exposed to and meet other talented musicians.

AMEB Exams

The Australian Music Examination Board is a recognized standard across Australia. Exams are a great way to achieve goals and reach a professional level of performance. They are a good benchmark to monitor progress. Aiming for an exam encourages regular practice time and steady improvement becomes evident as each level is passed. Technical requirements ensure students are progressing in all areas required for a high level of competency at the piano.
